One of our end users recently left the company. I removed his accout from AD and added his email address to his managers mailbox as a new email address as normal. New emails to the leavers email address are delivered to the manager ok but if someone replies to the an email that the leaver sent they receive the error below:
The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to. Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address.
Has anyone experienced this issue before? If so is there a way to ensure replies to historic emails are delivered to the mailbox with the alias?
