Iam using BOE XI R2 SP4 (Unix). User scheduled couple of webi reports to run everyday, but it keeps failing with the below message. (Gave the user full control on reports, universe & connection)

DBDriver failed to load : /boexir2/boe/bobje/enterprise115/aix_rs6000/dataAccess/RDBMS/connectionServer/libdbd_oci11.so (Library does not exist) An internal error occurred while calling the 'processDPCommands' API. (Error: WIS 30270) BOException caught:RESULT=80004005;WHAT=RefreshBatch failed

Anyboday has faced this problem, how to resolve this issue.

Thanks,
Shankar

Do the reports run correctly interactively? I suspect that they don't.

This looks like it's a data driver issue on your report server. Verify that the file it's looking for is there. If it's not you need to do a repair/update install on BO to make sure that the file is there.

A computer only does what you actually told it to do - not what you thought you told it to do.

I checked for the driver and its missing. Is there any other way to fix it apart from doing a repair/update, b'cos its happening in both dev & prod. I need to get the server down if I have to do a repair, which could be a problem.

Thanks,
Shankar

I haven't worked with the Unix version of the software, so I'm not sure.

In Windows I might be able to locate a copy of the file (I have 4 environments with 5 servers - Dev, QA, Prod Staging, and Production (cluster of 2 servers)) and then register it.

Its a bug in SP4, installed FP 4.7 and it resolved the issue.

Thanks,
Shankar
