Issue Relating to DTS packages

Hi all - I have a question relating to DTS. I have scheduled my DTS packages and they show they run successfully. I have noticed however, that there is an entry in the windows security log for each of the jobs that there was a login failure - invalid login or password. The jobs are owned by the same windows account that is running both the sql agent and the sql service which has system admin permissions. Also the jobs are succeeding so how can the password be wrong?

Have you checked the data to see if the package really has run? The scheduled job may show as complete - that just means it has executed the package. Depending on your set-up, if a step of the package fails will not always cause the scheduled job to fail.
