Issue on a filter combobox

Got a piece of code working that filtered the form using a combobox tied to a specific field in the form. The form has a subform.

It only seemed to work after the "Cancel As Integer" field in the AfterUpdate procedure was taken out. Any ideas as to why this would occur?

Cancel is not an option after update, only before update.
