Hi
I have a matrix with 4 3300 switches but i am having issues with adding another switch via a cross over cable.
When i plug in the cable the lights come on and you can see traffic go accross the link. However you cannot ping devices on the switch from opposite ends. Each device can see every other device if it is connected to the same switch. Is there something that i need to enable for this to work?

Are you connecting the crossover cable to the MM switch? This should be number 1 in the stack. I have four 3300’s with two crossover cables connected to switch 1 (The one with the matrix module) and it works. It really shouldn’t make any difference unless you have configured the ports on the switch to deny the traffic.
