We have a customer has 3 locations: in Centre Office has a BCM50 2.0 and a Nortel BSR222 VPN router; there are 2 other locations have same BSR222 and using VPN Tunnel to the Centre Office. At each remote site has an 1120E IP set, connecting to the BCM50, one is x230, another is x240.
Issue is: x230 could intercom centre office x221 and dial out no problem, but could not intercom with x240. It did ring the x240, but when picked it up, the call dropped. The other way is the same, x240 could not intercom x230. They have to dial their main number and transfer to the other IP set.

Anyone has any idea? Appreciated you guys help.

Additon: there are some alarms when the call dropped.

"Inter Arrival Jitter Violation Warning: 32ms, nearDN: 230, source IP: 192.168.100.51, source port: 51002, destination IP: 192.168.196.4, destination port: 28130,..."
"Packet Loss Violation Warning: 2%, nearDN: 230, source IP: 192.168.100.51, source port: 51002, destination IP: 192.168.196.4, destination port: 28130,..."
"Inter Arrival Jitter Violation Cleared: 3ms, nearDN: 230, source IP: 192.168.100.51, source port: 51002, destination IP: 192.168.196.4, destination port: 28130,..."
"Listening R Violation Cleared: 65, nearDN: 231, source IP: 192.168.100.52, source port: 51000, destination IP: 192.168.196.4, destination port: 28130,..."
......

Anyone familiar with these warnings?

With the symptoms you describe it sounds like the VPN connection to the site with X240 is blocking ports using to send the voice packets..

Maybe reconfiguring the VPN/Router may solve you problem.

Thanks TLDuk.
The firewall is not turned on yet. But could you please what are the ports I need unblock through the VPN tunnel besides 7000?

If port is blocked, why could they intercom to centre office?

Thanks again.

It's an IP routing issue. Make sure the VPN tunnels have access to the remote networks, and tunnel to tunnel forwarding is enabled on the VPN device at the main office.

Each BSR222 must have it's own network as the local network and the networks of the other 2 sites as remote networks.

I have to check those settings on all 3 BSR222, there might be something you guys mentioned but I did not set up properly.

Appreciate you both above. I'll let you all know what happened.
