Isset_se install error

I keep getting an error when trying to install a program onto my computer. First it says something about Isset_se, and choose whether to ignore or cancel. If you choose ignore enough times it comes up with another window saying it has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. I don't understand why it does this. I would try to re-install windows 98 SE, but i can't because it happens with all my software installs. Thanks for any help.

I normally get this error code if I forget to close all progams in the system tray, specifically my Norton antivirus. Make sure you have nothing running but explorer and system tray when you hit CTRL ALT Delete.
