Dear all,

My sybase server runs on Solaris 7 seems to have problem. After I reboot the server, it works fine. I can use isql to login to sybase. However, just after 15 mins. isql connection fail with following error:

CT-LIBRARY error:
ct_connect(): network packet layer: internal net library error: Net-Library operation terminated due to disconnect

I have try to reboot the server and it the same. Works fine at the beginning but fails afterward. Any ideas?? Please help. Thanks.

What exactly is happening? When isql disconnects, is the Sybase server still running? When you say "reboot the server" do you mean a Solaris reboot? Is there any useful info in the Sybase log files?

Greg.
