isp authentification problem

Newbie here, so don't laugh...

I'm using RedHat 7.1. I'm trying do dial into my isp at the command line using the wvdial command. Everything works fine until authentification. The information in /etc/wvdial.conf (username, password) is correct, what am I doing wrong? What else should I check?
