From out of nowhere, I am suddenly required to input my ISP username prior to sending an email. I input my username and password when I originally set up my account with Verizon.net using a DSL modem. I see my name and password in the prefs.js and liprefs.js files. Can anyone tell me how to stop my ISP from requiring a username before sending mail?

This may have been done for security reasons. Contact your ISP and find out if they have made any policy changes.
