Does anyone make an opto-isolator for analog telephones? Hookflash and etc needs to work of course.

I know that Positron makes this type of thing - used to isolate CO lines in Electrical power plants. They're sort of costly for many applications. Any reason you can't use more standard secondary protection?

DOH! Thanks, I didn't even think about this type of device. A fiber patch cord between the two and good to go. Just a wee bit pricey though.

We have an Engenius analog phone that keeps blowing out ports on the PBX. we've tried everything else that we can think of.

Is the Engenius defective? It should not be blowing out ports!
