Isolate SUS Server

We have a network on my work that must be offline from internet for security reason.the problems starts then all win2k clients must be uppatched with security patches.

Have setup a SUS on a win2k3 server in this network. have download all content\cabs and the 4files from the

http://wwwroot

on a online susserver.I can sync the sus and approve allmost all files.Problem is that the clients ignore the susserver totaly.Nothing happen on the clients, no logs are created.

are the clients pointed to the sus server via group policy?
