Hello to you all,

I am experiencing some problems with the ISM Manager, which is something like lite version of the Networker.

When I perform the level 0 backup by executing the onbar -b -w commnad, the spaces are backed up just fine. But when the ism_catalog is executing, I get the error message :
media info: seek failed: unknown error 131 (0x83) (131)

Then I have to mount another device, where the index is written.

I tryed with the ISMData and ISMDiskData pool. The backup is made to the hard disk. I have enought free disk space. The backup is about 3.5G, and my disk is 20G, so free space is not the issue here.

I am using Informix TC7, ISM 1.0 and NT4 sp6.

Any idea would be fine!

ISM is an Informix product, not a Legato one, so this isn't the right area for this problem.
Having said that, the error means:
An attempt was made to move the file pointer before the beginning of the file.

Bug it with Informix or check their support pages.
