I have a basic hardware question about setting up ISIS on a cisco router on serial interfaces. Firstly, all the examples in the book use a subinterface commands for their serial connections on the software side that creates a frame-relay cloud. However, on the hardware side I'm not sure how to set this up. It seems to me like you would need two connections in a three member frame-cloud, but I checked the config examples and they don't config the 2nd serial interface. From the examples these look like just normal serial interfaces.
