My priv1.edb is on s:\exchsrvr\sg1sb\priv1.edb (different drive of course) so I ran eseutil /g fine but when I try to run isinteg -s ex -fix it dosnt do anything it goes back to the screen where the switchs for isinteg are...any qlue

You've got the syntax wrong if it does that. Why are you doing that? How badly corrupted is your store?

Is ex the actual name of the server?
To run all the tests on a server named exchserver it would look like this. You would ideally run it repeatedly until you don't have any errors, warnings or fixes. .

Also did you run the eseutil with the /d switch? you should do this before the isinteg run

isinteg -s exchserver -fix -test alltests

Good luck. Dave

Well I did run eseutil /d fine no problems and for some reason ther isinteg will not run, no matter what -s -fix -t -whatever it will not run...

be more specific. What is the command you executed? what were the error messages. What is the name of the Exchange server.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark

the command I ran is d:\exchsrvr\bin>isinteg -s EX1 -fix
no errors I also tried the -t (where the db is)it just goes back to the isinteg commands.I ran :\exchsrvr\bin>eseutil /d s:\sg1db\exchsrvr\sg1db fine with no problems it said "found unknomn errors

You are not telling it what to fix/test. Assuming EX1 is your server name.

Isinteg -s EX1 -fix -test alltests

If you follow the first tip I give in my FAQ, you should add the bin directory to your path statement so you don't need to specify the directory structure and can execute the command in the directory of the database.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark

This what I did and this is what I get, it just keeps going like if I just did isinteg /?

Last time I will ask as you have failed to confirm. Is Ex1 the name of the Exchange server?

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark

OK, then all I can suggest is that you first add the Bin path to your path statment. Open a new CMD prompt (so the new path is included) and navigate to the location of the database files. Then execute the command above again.

If you still have a problem then most likely you have a file corrupt. I would suggest reapplying SP2.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark
