ISDX 2nd line to phone

I currently have an iSDT300+ style (secretary/manager) telephone on ext 5045 'line 1'.

need to provide a second line for this phone/extension and .

Please could you then set up my manager's extension to ring through to the 'line 2' number rather than the 'line 1' number (5045). My manager's extension number is 4686.


Can any one help with the above.. i have no idea

Hi Buzzuser,

You may need to create a new extn with the NEX command (if you do not have any spare extns)

List the iSDT channel with the LICH command. Make sure you can have two voice channels. If not, use RIDT xxyyzz.

You can then create a second channel on the iSDT with NICH extn V 2

Give the new extn a COS & TAC with SCS & STAC.

From what you have said I suspect that the managers line 4686 is diverted through to line 1 of the iSDT, so you will need to change the divert to the new extn.
