Hi BT have just upgraded the ISDN sevice to ISDN2e for a BCM50r2. Since this has been done the customers DDI ATA fax has not worked. The DDI works OK and calls can be made and received but during fax transmission the data becomes corrupted and the fax fails.BT say that everything OK on their end although I did have to get them to take service off and put back on again for the telephone system to see it.I have made no adjustments to the BCM50r2 and am reluctant to start changeing settings

Thankyou in advance

HI this is normally due to clocking issues on the isdn and bcm. Normally with isdn the clock source is set to primary external, when this kind of fault occurs then clocking source should be changed to secondary. 99 percent of the time this fixes the issue.

I had issues with a fax on an ATA with BCM50 R2 using ISDN2. There was a patch released and it fixed my issue. Not sure of the exact patch. I would say patch with the latest SU's if you haven't already

Clocking can cause problems on rel2 systems.
I did a WARM TELEPHONY restart and this cured my problem with faxes..
OR as already stated change clocking source to secondary.
