Hello all, I hope someone can shed some light to this problem.
We currently use Qwest's "ez route" application to route calls to a number of our hunt groups based on a list we've uploaded to the ez route program.

This works well, however, the caller ID does not come through EZ Route. Now Qwest has told me that they are passing CID info through but we need to have IP Office setup to do "ISDN with NI1 protocol". Now the technician that setup our IP Office tells me the our system CAN NOT do this. I do not have 100% confidence with this guy so that is why I'm inquiring here.
Please let me know if the Avaya Ip Office 412 can do "ISDN with NI1 protocol". IF so, please let me know how I can do this.

Thanks in advance.

I just looked at one and it does not have NI1 as an option. i am not sure if one of the other settings will work with it. Most carriers can do NI2 and that will work. I would try to get them to change to NI2. I think NI2 is the only one that can do name.

IP Office can do National. Which, I beleive is the only way for you to send CID name and Number outgoing.

How is the PRI set up currently? Custom? The only way for you to change to National is for the provider to change also...
