I have a G3r and I have a ISDN line that is hooked up to a CTI device. When a call comes in from the outside world the system will pass the 10 digits; However, when we make a call from inside the campus to someone with a CTI phone the system does not pass the digits. It just says what trunk it came in on.
Any suggestions?

Is the CTI device on a G3r ISDN line, or a LEC ISDN line. I can't tell for sure from your post.

Also, you say that inside calls indicate what trunk they came in on, but wouldn't there be no trunk to come in on on a intra-PBX call?

Or, if the CTI device is on a LEC call are you saying that calls from the PBX show the trunk used for the outbound call.

If that is the problem, then is the G3r on ISDN PRI for trunks? If so you'll have to look and see if the G3r is sending the correct digits on the outbound call setups. If so the CO switch may be providing the calling party address (some switches will pass PBX-provided Calling Party Adresses, some screen them, and some just substitute there own.

If the CTI device has an ISDN logging ability capture an inbound call setup and post it here. The calling party address will included a screening indicator which shows who provided it and whether it was screened by the network.

If this is actually a Definity problem (seems likely) you may want to post it in the Definity forum, here:

Good luck.
