We have a soft-pbx which uses a Cisco 2621XM with NM-HDV card for PSTN breakout.

We are getting call rejections from the service provider (Kingston) with the message "incorrect number format".

We are sending the calltype as national and in the following format;

01234567890

The service provider has not been amazingly helpful in telling us what digits we should be presenting to their switch. Has anybody got any ideas?

Debug output is below, i have obscured the telephone numbers intentionally.

-------------------------------------
4d04h: ISDN Se1/0:15: TX -> SETUP pd = 8 callref = 0x001C
4d04h: Bearer Capability i = 0x8090A3
4d04h: Channel ID i = 0xA98388
4d04h: Calling Party Number i = 0xA1, 'XXXXXXXXXXX', Plan:ISDN, Type:National
4d04h: Called Party Number i = 0xA1, 'XXXXXXXXXXX', Plan:ISDN, Type:National
4d04h: ISDN Se1/0:15: RX <- RELEASE_COMP pd = 8 callref = 0x801C
4d04h: Cause i = 0x829C - Invalid number format (incomplete number)
-----------------------------------------

There is a light at the end of the tunnel!............It5 is a flamethrower ;-)

What is the difference between the digits you are sending and what they are expecting?

It is what it is!!
