I have a new ISDN line setup that will act as a backup point to point connection. I'm trying to determine if there is a way to test the line without any fancy equipment. I'm just looking to see if there is any life in the line. My Nortel Passport 2430's ISDN port isn't showing any sign's of life. Is there a way that I can test the line -- maybe with a telephone? It is data only.
