This isn't so much of a problem, more a curiosity.
We have a dual line setup with ISDN and SIP. We have ARS handle the dial short codes, basically anything that has 00 at the beginning (i.e international) gets sent over the SIP trunk as it's cheaper. Everything else goes over ISDN.
Here's the odd thing. We've noticed that when calling a national number that happens to have a SIP destination, the call goes out over our SIP trunk, even if it doesn't match the code.
First question: How does it know?! When dialing the number, the system instantly dials over the SIP trunk. How does it know the destination is also SIP until it has started trying to call?
Second question: Where would I turn off this SIP to SIP override?
