Hi Guys,

I have a ISL 1000 ISDN Simulator model ISL-A-01, i want to use it for ISDN LABs and i need help in the configuration, i downloaded the software from the web side and i have communication with the simulator but no idea how configure it, anyone has the same model or worked with one similar that can help me?.

Thanks in advance.

The first thing you need to determine is what type(s) of ISDN you wish to configure. This will be determined in part by the equipment you'll be connecting to the emaulator.

You need to know

1) S interface (4 wire)or U interface (2 wire)

2) Point-to-point or multipoint

3)ISDN protocol (typically National ISDN1 or 2 in the USA/Canada and ETS 300 [euro ISDN]for the rest of the world)

Once you have determined the above it should be fairly easy to figure out how to configure the emulator to provide it.
