I have 5 groups of agents on an AVAYA CM5 and through Tek-tips I see that I can use the ISDN Public unknown table to send a number that people can call certain agents back on. FOr example, I want group 1-3 to have a TFN number shown when they call out but groups 4-5 have a Lo-call number sent. Can this be done on Agent logins i.e agent 2xxxx send the TFN and agents 21XXX send the lo-call number out. I just need to know if its possible and how its done.

My experience is that while logged in, the agent will send their agent ID if the call is an intra-switch call, but not on a PSTN call. If a logged-in agent calls on the PSTN, the call goes out as the station, not the agent, so your ISDN Pub treatment is on the station rather than worrying about the agent ID.

someone can counter my opinion, but this has been my experience.

You can try this...

change public-unknown-numbering 1
Code:
                      NUMBERING - PUBLIC/UNKNOWN FORMAT
                                           Total
Ext Ext Trk CPN CPN
Len Code Grp(s) Prefix Len
                                                     Total Administered: 2
 4 20xx 8005551212 10 Maximum Entries: 9999
 4 21xx 8005551313 10

To adminman3's point, if the above doesn't work, try changing this to 'N' on the station form page 2.

Per Station CPN - Send Calling Number? n
