so i ordered some windstream trunks... the order was originally for 2 pri hand offs 24 channels each. they goofed the order and had me setup for all 48 channels compressed and setup for 1 pri hand off. should i want compressed isdn pri's in the future how can i use them with my cs1000 what trunk card would i need?

Never heard of a compressed PRI. Regardless you need at least 1 d-channel for these 2 circuits unless they are going to share an existing d-channel. The T-1 card in any Nortel PBX can only handle 24 channels unless you have a 2.0 Euro circuit which is 30 channels but not sold in the US.
