I KNOW THE CENTRAL OFFICE CAN TRANSFER A BCH CALL OUT TO THE NETWORK, THUS FREEING UP THE CHANNEL. BUT DOES THE MERIDIAN SUPPORT THIS FEATURE,IF SO WHAT IS IT CALLED. I FOUND A CENTREX TRANSFER, BUT THE SOFTWARE GUIDE SAYS PRI IS NOT SUPPORTED. THIS WOULD BE USED FOR COMING INTO IVR AND PICKING A OPTION THAT WOULD TRANSFER YOU OFF SITE TO A CREDIT CARD PLATFORM.

If you are connected to a Nortel CO you can set your Meridian to do anti-tromboning. What this does is that when you have a call on your PRI and it gets transfered out by using another BCH the Nortel CO can see that it is the same call coming in and out. So it links the two channels together and takes it off you PRI. Hope that get's in the right direction.

THANKS BROEKING, I'D HEARD THAT THERE WERE A COUPLE OF THINGS THAT MAY NEED TO BE CHANGED IN THE RDB BUT COULD NOT CONFIRM IT.
