System : Option 61 Rel 25.40b.

The system has a PRI that terminates to an auto-attendant which sends it to a phone. When the call is answered on the phone , the first line of the phone display ( 2616 set ) is not showing anything. The second line is showing the Caller ID. Is there a way to give a name to those trunks on the PRI so that when they are answered a certain string ( e.g. EMERGENCY ) shows up on the display ?

Thanks,

YES,FIND OUT WHAT THE ACOD OF THE TRUNKS IS BY PRINTING THE RDB IN LD 21. THEN GO TO LD 95 AND DO A NEW ON THAT ACOD # AND PUT IN THE NAME OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

We found the solution today. We had tried earlier to assign a name to the ACOD but this did not work. What we had to do is the following : set the PRI to display the DNIS , assign a name under the prompt DNAM ( in my case the name was EMERGENCY ) then disable the DNIS display again since we did not want it. The prompt DNAM will not show unless DNIS is set to YES. Once it's programmed DNIS can be disabled.
