My computer starts up with the following message:
Microsoft ISDN Configuration Wizard
No ISDN devices were found. Please install an ISDN device and run the configuration wizard again.
Here's the crux of the problem.
We are on DSL internet service. The internet works fine. My E-mail program, Outlook Express, works fine.
However, When I try to send a FAX via my fax program, WinFax 9.0, I always get a message telling me that the line is busy.
Naturally, I try my home number that I know ain't busy.
I tried deleting and reinstalling WinFax to no avail.
I had some files deleted when I opened an E-mail attachment that had a virus.
I have a suspician that the ISDN message and the Winfax problem are related. Everything worked fine until the virus problem. At the time I didn't have Norton Anti Virus installed (I do now. Again, no problem on the internet nor on the E-mail prgram.
I did a "find" for ISDN and this is what I found:
Digiisdn 12kb setup information
Easyisdn 9kb setup information
Infoisdn 7kb setup information
urrisdn 8kb setup information
search_goto;kw=1 1kb HTML Document
Does anyone have any ideas?
