After recently upgrading the old trusty 2505, finding that the newer IOS supported IPX and other formerly missing features, I thot I had ISDN commands with which to experiment. However, upon observing the following question...
Which command can be used to display the calls currently placed on the ISDN interface?
A. show isdn status
B. show dialer
C. show ISDN calls
D. show isdn active
Answer: D
...and examining the 2505...
Routesaurus#show d?
debugging decnet dhcp dialer dnsix
dxi
Routesaurus#show dialer ?
dnis DNIS statistics
interface Show dialer information on one interface
maps Show dialer maps
sessions Show dialer sessions
| Output modifiers
<cr>
Routesaurus#show i?
interfaces ip ipx
...I'm starting to suspect that ISDN still isn't available on the router. However, from privileged exec mode, i? reveals an isdn command with these options:
Routesaurus# i?
isdn
Routesaurus# isdn ?
call Make an isdn data call
disconnect Disconnect the isdn data call(s)
What am I missing here? Is the "show dialer" answer the correct answer above?
