We are looking for a blackbox that will monitor the lines coming in to a phone system, it should have a Network connection so it can Email to advise if the lines drop.

This will need to be connected to both ISDN30 and ISDN2 Lines.

Does any body know anything that will do this???

Cheers!!

If you use a protocol analyzer you will get a cause code when a line is disconnected. But you would need to search through the raw data.

Some protocol analyzers will tell you if Layer 1 is dropped, but again it would be up to you to analyze the captured data.

What exactly are you trying to do?
