I have an Elcon NT1+multi ISDN modem ( It currently connects to my computer via a USB cable.

I want to be able to use the same connection for my laptop via a Wireless Router.

What wireless router would you recommend and what are some things to watch out for (i.e. protocols,...) ?

The ISDN modem has two RJ45 jacks but I am not sure if they will be compatible with just any wireless router.

Please help,

Thanks,
Goran

This is an ISDN "modem" therefore it does not include an Ethernet jack. The two RJ-45 style jacks are NOT for connection to a computer or router.

The only data jacks this has are USB and RS232.

If your computer is a desktop and has an Ethernert jack (and you are willing to leave it on all the time) you should be able to connect the Ethernet of the computer to a wireless access point and tell the Windoze config wizard that you want to bridge the two network interfaces together.

This isn't the best forum for this question, so you may want to post it on a windoze networking section.

Best of luck.
