Hi Guys

Hopefully one of you guru's might be able to help me. Yesterday morning all lines went dead( I think) internal calls were ok but at present I dont have any amo for a meeting I'm going into as to why this happend. Can someone point me in the right direction to see if I can access logs that may tell me of any issue around the time of the incident? also if this was to happen again is there a command that will show me the status of the trunks.

Any Help would be great.

Entering 'show ISDN Status' in the gateway will show the status of the ISDN line. 'Debug isdn q931' will show if you are making or receiving calls. Depending on if it is an MGCP or H323 gateway, looking at the gateway in CCM GUI will show if it is registered (MGCP).
If you have a syslog server, you should see the incident when the PRI went down.

Thanks pndscm

I will see if I can get as much info from that as I can.

Is there somewhere where I can find commands for the gateway that would be useful in trouble shooting cases.

If they are Cisco gateways, Cisco.com will give you more than you want to know.
