We installed isdn e1 with MM710 & G700 / S8300 system,

Isdn not working when test the test board 1v4, the test no 139 to 146 is shoing pass, & in idividual channels showing,36 pass & 257 fail,

show status trunk 1 - shows all the channels are out-of-service -NE.

if we check the status of signaling group - it shows d chalnel is out of service.

service provider tells us their side is everything is ok , only problem with avay system.

Could you pls suggest me this problem with MM710 card or service provider problem.

have you tried resetting the mgp ? Also< have you set the primary sync source in the MGP ?

Thanks mrjedi,

Yes we tried with restarting the MGP but still no luck,

we took one Avaya IP Office system & tested the same, the e1 line is working fine,

When we connect the same line to CM it does not work. we get the error which i have imentioned in the above post.

Could point us to prove thre is problem with telco or MM710 module.

Is there any diffrence isdn e1 working with diffrent pabx system , i belive the protocols are the same with all the pbx systems.

confused with wroking on IPO not on CM

is test 138 passing???if no cna u check the physical connectvity?
try swapping the pairs at the MDF to confirm the same? Or DO a Loop Back test by cross connecting the DS1 pairs to chek the HW problem?
also provide the DS1 and Singal config.
Also where is the other end of the E1 terminated?

bye ALL the Best

setting up ISDN E1 as connection to telco provider is difficult. If your HW test loop back works fine, then it is a telco to PBX config problem. try asking for the configuration settings on the telco side, maybe you can see the config conflict.
