Hi all,

I have a 3640 router with a E1 PRI interface receiving ISDN calls from other routers.
However, I cannot establish calls from this router. Actually, the command 'isdn call' is unrecognized. The router is running Software C3640-I-M, Version 12.0(8).

I need your help to solve this problem.

Thank you in advance!

Hi

'isdn call' is ambiguous, could be 'isdn call interface' or 'isdn caller'.
Also these will not be recognised until you have configured the E1 controller.

Start with 'controller E1 <slot/port>' or
'controller E1 <number>' first in global configure mode.

Have a look at
