After much studying and a lot of trial and error I can get my Pipeline 50 to connect both B channels to SBC and even connect to my SBC/Yahoo, ISP (Yea!). I still cant’ get SBC/Yahoo to give me a public IP address or resolve my DNS requests, so the internet is still an illusive dream. I have NAT configured, but not DHCP, since I’m using static Private IP addresses behind the router. As far as BootP, I dont have a list of DHCP server on the ISP side.
I connected, via analog modem, to SBC/Yahoo and did an ipconfig /all to get the gateway and DNS server IP addresses as well as a couple of external IP addresses. Back to the router… I can ping the gateway and DNS servers, but not the external IP addresses. I added the DNS Server IP addresseses to my config with the same results (no DNS name resolutions either).
I have enclosed a copy of my router config to review. If anyone can lend a hand, it would be greatly appreciated. I’m getting closer, but I’m not connected, yet.
