Is there a reason to assign a PRI or BRI card as clock source ?

I have a TDA600 system connected over PRI isdn link to a TDA100 with qsig.On the past week i already lost the connection between these systems twice, on the Tda600 the Pri Card showed data link failure.The problem solved first by rebooting the card, as the second time this did'nt work i replace the card . The only difference in the configuration is that last week i install in the Tda600 an BRI card and now i see that this card is selected to be first clock priority .

Whenever you have a digital card such as PRI or T-1, E-1 or BRI, you want to make sure it has a clock priority. In both systems if you have them networked via the digital line.
