Use the 'Diagnostics' in the Assistant.
You can trace in real time the trunk there.
If you can not find it let me know - I have no access to 4K at present so 'I am not sitting in front of one' currently to give more detail.

Some of that diagnostics stuff you have to go in to Application Management in Assistant and turn it on to get access. Do not turn on more than one application (additional) at a time, and do not just arbitrarily turn them all on, because it can lead to system resource problems. Also if you do a trace and are finished be sure to stop the process when you are done so as not to unnecessarily fill up the log files....

OK - access restored here.

Go in to Assistant
Base Administration/Application Control
If not already ticked then tick Real Time Diagnosis System and Test Simulation Key Activity then submit.
No more than 2 can be submitted at one time.
Go back to the Assistant Main Page and refresh.
Down at the end on the left you will see
Diagnostics/Switch Diagnostics Support
Click on Real Time Diagnosis System
When it comes up you just put in a name to log on
Then you click on
Monitor Trunk/Line/Data Line / ISDN Trace
When that comes up put in the PEN of the ISDN circuit and in the dropdown list for TYPE put in ISDN Tracer
Then click on START over on the right hand side.
After it goes green then click on ISDN TRACE DISPLAY down the bottom.
Make some test calls.
You can double click on the different lines (example an incoming SETUP message) to get more info.

You will need proper client preparation/Java etc. before this will work.
Ensure you go back to the main trace page to 'Shutdown RDS' before leaving to be able to log on again.

You can also try Diagnostics TSKA (Test Simulation of Key Function Activity) to monitor/take over digital phones for other tests.

Go to unify.com/partner portal and download TraceEx.
Use trace8 to start a trace and capture your scenario.
Download your trace file using comwin file transfer from DIAG area.
Use TraceEx to open and convert file in human readable form.
