In a SCN. Can you configure so that if WAN is down then SCN switches to ISDN

this is for data link too, not just voice by the way, so can I have an ISDN wan service that dials up if wan is down and scn continues seamlessly, then switch back when wan is up again

add the telephoe number for the remote switch in the telephone number field on the Wan Service.

alternativly it create a 2nd service that uses dialup networking via the ISDN & set this as the fallback destination in the 1st service

create a short code to set the 1st service into Night service when req.

In both cassses there is no need to make any changes to the Voip trafic routing

In that case I canot think of any solution apart from changing the IP route on each IPO to use a dialup service. but this would have to be done manualy if & when the link fails.

This is essentially a dynamic routing issue. I was advised to only use Static routing with the IPO. However, other routeing protocols are possible (RIP) so those may provide an answer

If you create 2 static routes (on using WAN one using ISDN DU service) and set a higher metric for the DU one, you should get the result you desire. In theory, at least!
