Hello:

I Recently have set up a blade server running HPUX 11iver2, and we are using
iscsi with our san drives. I think they are using Lefthand storage which they can do a
snap of the drive for me to do a backup on. However I don’t know lefthand, nor how they are dong this snap, can someone tell me if they are doing anything like this, and possibly the best procedure or how they are doing this? I am believing they have to present the disk to the system BEFORE they snap it, then I can back that up or export it to another system to backup.

Thanks for any information.
Scott
