1. I configured ISA to use at home, as an experimental environment. With a 56K modem. ISA is connected to the internet with an external IP (modem) "randomly" given by my ISP each time I log in and an internal IP (fixed) with a network adapter which connects it to the other PC's at home.
Problem: I can connect to the Internet with ALL the PC's EXCEPT the one which has the ISA server installed. On that one I cannot access any web page (DNS error or server not found) and when I PING an external address sometimes it's ok, sometimes it gives me 4 "timeouts". (randomly)
2. I think this is a no-brainer (really stupid) but it really puzzles me so if you're kind enough to provide any help: ISA management -> Policy elements -> Dial-Up entries: I create one... Why can't I delete it!? (why has ISA to be such a frustrating piece of software... )
