Hey All,

It's been awhile since I've used an MS based Proxy server. But i'll give this a go.

I have ISA 2006 Standard installed on a perimiter machine in my DMZ. I am trying to publish an internal sharepoint site. The external DNS sharepoint.mycompany.com responds with the external ip address of the ISA server. From the ISA server (WITHOUT THE ISA SOFTWARE INSTALLED) I can reach the internal sharepoint site using either the ip address or hostname (So I know my PIX will allow the servers to communicate on http).

Here is the error:
From the ISA Server now that the software is installed, I am unable to reach the site. I can still ping the server via hostname and ip address, and can even nslookup it. In Internet Explorer I recieve the error message "403 forbidden 12202 The ISA Server denied the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL)." I used the publish Sharepoint site wizard under tasks in the firewall policy section. My listener is FBA with LDAP (LDAP and GC ports are open between ISA and DC), and is configured to allow from any external address.

Anyone have a suggestion? I will post a config, kinda scratching my head here. I've read the microsoft tutorial on publishing a website with ISA, and the helpful one T Schneider wrote on ISAServer.org, but I am really stumped here.

If the ISA server cannot communicate with LDAP will it cause this error?
