I have a verry simple setup
Box1----------|ISA Server|----------Box2
Box1 needs to connect to Box2 via tcp on port 6400.
I have filtering enabled and a filter rule that allows the TCP connect bothways on port 6400. The LAT on the ISA Server has Box2 in its range. There is a an all allow rule set up for the Site and content as well as a all allow rule for the Protocol rules. The default Web Publishing Rule is there.
I have tried everything, added one then the other then both in the Client and Destination address sets. Someone suggested;
"You'll need to create a protocol for your service. You'll then need to create a Server Publishing rule (not web) using the protocol rule you made."
I tried that and that didn't work.
No matter what I try, the Packet Filter log file allways states that it blocks that particluar connect.
PLEASE HELP !
