I had to install Wingate for a special reason, but after rebooting my server, I got a blue screen on tcpip.sys
Deerfield (Wingate) support says that I have to replace tcpip.sys with the version before SP1
When I replace that file, I can start up the server, Wingate is working, but the firewall service of my ISA server doesn't start anymore...

I get an event error related to the NAT driver
When starting the server, I also get an error dialog box on ipnat.sys

When I reinstall Win2K SP1, my server will not start anymore (I will get an bsod on tcpip.sys) and when I boot in safe mode, remove Wingate again, and reboot again, all will work...

But that is back to where I started so...

I hope anyone can help me out on this I have not failed, I just found 10000 ways that don't work

ISA server has to have SP1 installed. It obviously seems like Wingate doesn't work with SP1 yet. I'm not familiar with Wingate but isn't there another option?

I know ISA server can host requests to internal servers as well, but in my case it wouldn't work (because my internet connection needs to go to an upstream proxy... I can't access the internet without my ISP proxy), so I had to use Wingate to do the port mapping...

Any ideas ? I have not failed, I just found 10000 ways that don't work

There are lot's of other APPs that does exacly same thinks as Wingate.Try some other(e.g. winroute).Maybe it does not meet your needs but that is place you should start from... Sleew
Compaq & Microsoft TS

I had a look at some minor progs, and it looks like winroute lite would work (because it does port mapping as well)
I was looking for a free tool because I've already bought Wingate (it's still running fine on my NT4 servers) and I only need the port mapping stuff so... any ideas ??? I have not failed, I just found 10000 ways that don't work
