HI Guys, i have ISA 2000 installed on my server, but when i do a port scan from a remote pc, its showing up as having several ports open.. e.g 1080, 25, 110. i have specifically disabled the filters.. i have also applied isa sp1..
and they still appear to be open..

any ideas?

chris

Are you sure there are noe server publishing rules left? Port 25 is SMTP, Port 110 is POP3 and 1080 is SOCKS (WinGate used to be vulnerable).

WEB- and Serverpublishing rules opens ports for inbound access. Check that these definitons are empty.

i have checked the web and server publishing rules.. there is only one in the web publishing .. the defualt rule, deny all.

any other suggestions.

chris

thats cool... i have it.

it seems that it was only accuring when i set isa up as a vpn server using the wizard.

i have set it up manually and all ports are closed.

thanks for your help.

OK. Although my hints were not the solution to your problem ;-)

Cheers
Knut Erik
