Hello,
I have a critical situation here. Have had ISA 2000 Standalone for a year working with no problems. Security auditors come in and say "thou shalt purchase and install Enterprise and create an array". No problem, buy software and two brand new servers (dual Xeon 2.4ghz, 2 gig RAM). Install on first, run Enterprise initialization, all services work. Promote to array, services will not start! ISA Control grinds away for a full 15 minutes then errors out with "ID 7031, ISA Sevice terminated unexpectedly". Reinstalled on first server, same thing happened again. Did exactly the same on second server, same result. Searched KB, nothing. Went to ISAServer.org, found nothing close. I hesitate to call MS. Last time was for Exchange, and was on the phone with a tech for five hours as he tried everything he could think of. My ear still has bad memories. Anyone have any ideas? I think I've ruled out hardware issues. Thanks in advance.
