isa 2006 Rookie Question

Hi to all.
First of all sorry for my English.

I have a domail which among others includes 1 DNS Server and 1 isa2006 Server.
My question is this.
When a user opens a page on the internet is Cache from whom will go to get the information?
From the DNS Server or from the Isa Server.

Sorry for the stupid question that I do but man who supported those server no longer exists :(

PS1 Please be as detail as possible
PS2 Be sure that the stupid question will be continue!!!!!!
