My company just purchased Track-It ticketing software - Standard Version. I want to use the Track-It to deploy CR over the web. The reports are based on SQL so I will need to convince my company to upgrade to the Enterprise version, correct? Only standard can run reports based on Access databases, right?

I'd like to hear from someone that is using Track-It to get their CR's over the net. Please let me know how it is working and if you would recommend it. Also, are there any disadvantages of using Track-It vs. purchasing the Crystal Enterprise. For ex. are there any limitations since Track-It used v.7.0, when I use 8.5 to write reports.

I appreciate any guidance I can get,
Ron

Any version of CR can write reports on MS Access databases.

I have no experience with Track-IT, but you may STILL be subject to royalty payments to Crystal using track-IT, or any other tool, in deploying reports to the web. There is an extensive thread on this issue, search under kenhamady and $10K and you will find it Software Support for Sage Mas90, Macola, Crystal Reports, Goldmine and MS Office

Thanks,

I understand what CR can and cannot do, but I am not familiar with what Track-It can do with CR.

Does anyone use Track-It to view CR over the web?

in need of guidance,
Ron
