Is the only way to reset a 3300 password to use Mitel and tech credits? Is there another way that anyone else knows about?
Below is the process that I found on mitels website but its a little vague as far as the process.
As part of Mitel's continuous effort to improve service and support, we are pleased to be able to offer our valued Mitel Service Providers access to the documentation required for a System Password Reset.
This service is only available to authorized Mitel Service providers. Mitel will not reset passwords for end-user customers.
We reserve the right to refuse any requests for a System Password reset specifically in cases where:
There may be dispute between the customer & former Service Provider
Cases where there may be a maintenance contract in place with the Former Service provider.
End users are strongly encouraged to resolve any disputes prior to requesting a reset through another Service Provider. Regional Customer Ombudsman are also available to the end user to aid in the resolution of any disputes between the two parties.
Mitel’s standard fee for System Password Reset service is 3 technical credits. Password resets will not be performed for Service providers where their Technical Credit balance is in negative standing.
In some cases S/W Re-licensing is also applicable and is subject to an additional cost.
