Is this possible? Lingo to mySQL and back ?

Hello all!

I searched the web for an answer, but i couldnt find much about it so i joined this forum.
Maybe some of you guys can help me.
So, what im i talking about? Well:

I'm working on a CD-production and i will use director for the interface.
Its gonna be a verry interactive "experience" with video, animations and games (Flash).
Also i want my CD to comunicate with a database on my server, and thats my point!

Can i do such a thing?
Sending variables from Lingo to a mySQL-database and back?

You can do so by using "getNetText()" or "postNetText()".
