I have been asked to build a database that does alot of power point automation... Is this even possable?? Exacly what they want is some thing like this:

They want to be able to select a record that has a pointer to a power point file. Have access open the file, copy all of the slides, and paste them into a new presentation. Then select another record with a link to different presentaion and copy all of the slides out of that and paste them into the same newly created presentation as the first time, but at the end of the presentation. Any clue's as to where to start or any thing would be great!

Hi James!

The first thing I would do is go to a code window and select Tools/References. Find MS PowerPoint in the list box and mark the check box next to it and click okay. Now click on the object browser and look through the available objects to see what sort of properties and methods you have available to work with them. That should give you enough ideas to get started.
